There's something about a clear sky after we've had some snow. We definitely have a lot more appreciation for it after long stretches of gray darkness. The sky feels extra bright, extra blue, shining hope down our way, reminding us winter's not forever.
It's on days like these that I like to take a few pictures. Usually I take pictures of the contrast between the bright white snow and the shadows from trees or other objects. I might take pictures of branches and plants encapsulated in ice by freezing rain. Every now and then there's some neat icicles to capture.
Today I looked up and saw these tree branches that looked like lightening.
